CARFAC Ontario

CARFAC Ontario is the association of professional visual and media artists. Founded in 1968, CARFAC (Canadian Artists' Representation/le Front des artistes canadiens) has worked for 40 years on the legal and economic issues facing visual artists. We believe that artists, like professionals in other fields, should be paid for their work and share equitably in profits from their art practice.

amanda immurs

hamiltonian amanda immurs was born in 1982. After finishing her bachelor of arts at mcmaster university, amanda decided to continue her education at Sheridan college in their crafts and design programme with concentration in textiles. The combination of training has lead amanda to create tactile images that recollect the layers of everyday life.

Amber Delaney is a British born artist living in Hamilton, Ontario. She works in many mediums, and specializes in portraiture and still life. Amber has had work exhibited in Hamilton and in Brighton, England.

Arts 4U Studio

Arts 4U Studio is a gallery, studio and a classroom. We have a collection of artists and artisans showing and teaching in our facility and artist Mary Simms will be in residence there. Owners Mary and Stephen Simms have been together in the art world for over 20 years and individually for longer. They have both studied at the College level and are excited to be a part of the art world in the part of Hamilton where they started their family. Stephen Simms is a Photographer.

b contemporary is located in the heart of the James St North Arts District. The street is an eclectic mix of businesses with an international flavour. Markets, cafes, restaurants, and retail businesses create a vibrant street life. The Art Crawl, in the evening on the second Friday every month, is an exciting night of gallery openings, studio open houses, and performances.

Centre3 for Print and Media Arts

Centre3 for Print and Media Arts is an artist-run centre, located in the heart of the James St N art district, that is dedicated to promoting print and media arts in contemporary artistic discourse for practicing artists and the community at large. As a production, exhibition, education centre and animator of community arts, Centre3 supports both traditional and experimental print media and media art practices. The centre encourages research and innovation and provides forums for discussion and examination of critical and theoretical issues.

I was born in Poland, earning my diploma in Commercial Art and Advertising before setting my roots in Canada, more than 25 years ago.
Expanded my studies by taking many additional art courses at the Dundas Valley School of Art, Art Gallery of Hamilton and Mohawk College, ranging from Graphic Design, Creative Watercolour to Artist Educator Program.

She also has been on the internet much longer than she cares to admit, and posts book reviews, recipes and the occasion random rant at DSAFIRE.NET
