Jeff Tessier Photography

I'm a Hamilton-based photographer. I work as the Photography Editor at H Magazine, have shown at several local galleries and had pieces included in the 2009,2010, and 2012 Timeraiser events, and have lately worked as a photographer for the Culture Division of the City of Hamilton.

My work is divided between commercial jobs and personal projects. In both areas of my work, my photography is documentary in style and intent. Whenever I am creating photos my goal is to tap into the great story-telling power inherent in photography, and so whether I am shooting an urban landscape, a portrait, or a still life my hope is that I am able to use the camera to tell a story about the subject.
